About this course

Curriculum

Pre-training in Online Navigation

In this module, you will be introduced to the basics of navigating online learning platforms. You will explore how to access content, engage with course tools, manage your profile, and use online communication tools effectively to prepare for a smooth learning experience.

Online Course Design

This module focuses on the principles of designing effective online courses. You will learn how to align learning objectives with content, select appropriate instructional strategies, and structure online modules for maximum engagement and learner comprehension.

Online Facilitation

In this module, you will explore techniques for facilitating online learning. This includes managing discussions, encouraging participation, creating an inclusive online learning environment, and using digital tools to support and engage learners.

Online Assessment

This module covers assessment in the online learning environment. You will explore both formative and summative assessment methods, online tools for quizzes and assignments, as well as strategies for providing timely and meaningful feedback.

Online Learner Support

In this module, you will examine best practices in providing learner support in digital environments. Topics include academic support, technical assistance, motivation strategies, and inclusive practices for supporting diverse learners online.

Preparations for the New Cohorts

This final module guides you through the preparations for launching new learner cohorts. You will explore planning and scheduling strategies, cohort onboarding processes, communication planning, and tools to ensure a smooth start to learning for all participants.
