Course Purpose
This course aims to equip learners with essential pedagogical knowledge and practical skills to effectively teach media studies and broadcasting topics. It fosters the ability to design, implement, and assess innovative teaching strategies that engage diverse learners while integrating evolving media technologies critical thinking approaches and and ethical classroom practice within the context of Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET).

Curriculum Design for Media Studies and Broadcasting: curriculum structures and standards in media education, lesson plans incorporating broadcasting topics, evaluate and adapt curriculum materials to meet diverse learner needs, impact of curriculum decisions on student engagement and outcomes.
Instructional Strategies for Media Education: active learning methods appropriate to media studies, implementation of participatory techniques like project-based learning designing interactive media projects that promote critical thinking and collaboration, challenges experienced during lesson delivery and plan improvements.
