Can we predict how things are going to change? In many cases knowledge of calculus can do this: Calculus is a branch of mathematics that describes the rates changes in many patterns of change represented by functions.

This course has been broken down into 10 modules. The learner is introduced to concepts in differential and integral calculus of single variable and their applications. Calculus has a wide range of applications in data science namely; solving optimization problems, find areas under a curve and definition of mathematical models for probability density functions.
